How to Choose What Matters and Live More Intentionally

What have you been “putting off” that is meaningful to you (probably due to the bullsh*t FILLER you’ve allowed to come first)?  Have you got caught up in too much Doing and are feeling the negative effects?  It’s time to take back conscious control of where you are spending your time, money, and energy.  In this heart-to-heart video I will remind you to choose what really matters to you, and below I lay out some specific steps you can take.

What are you going to do about it? How can you go from acknowledging you are missing out on living your best life – to enjoying a more intentionally enriched life?

  1. Decide what is truly meaningful for you, for right now – and take a look at where your time is going, both on and off your calendar. What do you want more of? What could you get rid of?
  2. Create your supportive structure and a plan for including the things that matter most.  I recommend mapping out your ideal calendar, which I like to call your “Perfect Week” (I created a template for it here). 
  3. Pick a date about 3 months into the future, and start slotting in appointments which fit your ideal future schedule. By starting now with your intentional calendar plan, you can shift your daily life by design!  
  4. Stick to the plan.  It’s OK to shuffle things some–IF- it’s a rare exception, but really TRY HARD to move people  and activities into the planned schedule AND keep your promises to yourself.
